I downloaded this Kindle file, as Lexi Maxxwell was mentioned in the book I was reading (Write, Publish, Repeat).

Yes, it's certainly smut, but it was smut for the intelligent woman.

Usually, any erotica I read is full to the stocking tops with poor grammar, typos and the thinnest of plots.

Lexi's work is different. There was a decent plot, it seemed well planned and executed. The writing was of a decent standard. Nice little bits of humour in there too - tongue in cheek!

If you like erotica, then give this girl a go.

One of my DSOAs' from the end of March 2013, I've had this kicking around on my Kindle ... and been itching to read it.

A very tongue in cheek (actually many tongues' in more places than that) take on Fifty Shades, meets Alice Wonderland somewhere in Ann Summers. I have to admit though that I am probably one of the very few women around that hasn't read Fifty Shades - I read the reviews and decided that it wasn't for me - not because of the erotica, but the quality of the writing.

This piece of fiction was different, both titillating and frothy piece, and although yes the content is erotica, there was nothing too icky or cringe-worthy in it. I wonder if Amazon are going to sell the wheels?

On the whole a nicely written piece, and I would certainly read the other 2 books in the trilogy.

3 stars from me, and a highly commended piece of cover work too, that would make a nice standalone print!

This is only a short, and it's described as erotic romance, I'm not sure just how erotic though - seems an ideal selection as a little handy something to read on a commute, or better still cozied up by the fire on an early Autumn morning:

Up early this morning, as I have mountain of reading to get through, I'm Alpha reading a novel by an Author that has been featured on here before as a DSOA, but not sure if I am allowed to say their name, so I will be quiet (big surprise to my friends I'm sure, most of them would place large bets that is something I am simply not able to do!).

The Lord of Sod put in an appearance too this morning, I was just well on the way to dictating notes on the novel as I read it, and the battery ran out.  We have every size of battery going in large quantities (my children go through enough to run a small country's electrical needs, so there are always loads), but just not AAA - for the love of Mike .......... I just need one.

I received a copy from Anne Eliot yesterday of her Novel, Unmaking Hunter Kennedy.  It was beautifully wrapped with a love note and on the inside cover (which has a really groovy patten on it) she wrote a lovely note to me - thanks Anne.  I'm looking forward to digging my way down to that one.

Talking of digging my way down, I've got so many paper books lined up to read, that I've had to start a list.  I haven't even got to the ebooks that have been sent in either.  I am a certain not going to start to add in my DSOA's from here ... it would be too frightening a prospect - what I really need to do is brake a leg or three and need bed rest so I can read all day and most of the night to catch up - I think there are well over 100 piling up.

Right, typing isn't going to get the reading done.

This is another one of my Daily Selection of Free Kindle Downloads on Amazon (DSOA) from way back in March 2013, yes I am that far behind!

Originally I was interested in it as a part of the reference reading for my own novel, which has a high erotica content, and thought that it might be the usual full on but trite offerings that are so often seen.

I was totally, and happily wrong, it was so well written and very interesting. The Author gave a reasoned and entertaining view of her rise to, and life as, an Body Massage girl with happy endings (and sometimes beginnings).

My copy of the Kindle file has a much more appealing cover than this one - it's this one in fact:

Just two one very tiny typographical errors, meant that it was also a highly delivered quality ebook in that regard. If you're interested the Errors will (as usual) be listed on the full Blog Post #372 in September 2013 on my Blog.

Today's selection is definitely for Adults Only, and I would suggest not for everybody, as it's sexually explicit .... but, I was drawn by the cover in the first instance.  I also have to say I loved the title, and the synopsis was intriguing:

I employed six beautiful female Honeys and one drop dead gorgeous male Honey, to offer comforting services, thankfully as it turns out, to very quickly swarming horny Bees, turning my home into The Honey Pot. Sinking every last penny into creating something a little different to what was on offer and the rest is history.

My first attraction was the cover .... it looks dreamy and interesting, then I went on to read the reviews..... it's 50 Shades of Grey'ish with a nice Fairytale twist, and is reported to be very funny to boot.

As usual you can find it quickly over at Amazon by clicking the large title just above the cover photograph, or click HERE.  It has been on the list for quite a while, so I am not sure how much longer it will be available as a freebie.

I am always saying that I never know how long the selections will be available for free, and I fell into the trap myself late last night.  I had spotted a Zombie book that Lydia fancied reading, and I couldn't be bothered to hit the "1 stop Click to buy" last night (the work of all of about 3 seconds), but decided that I would get it this morning and use it as today's selection.  Overnight, it disappeared off the free bestseller list, and when I went looking it wasn't listed as free any more.  Never mind I made it up to her with two other Zombie books that were listed for free.

I was surprised to see that Long Time Coming by Edie Claire is still available as a freebie download, it's steadily been going up the rankings in the free bestseller list and is now sitting at #3.  It's such a good book that I would love to see it get to number 1, but there again the author positively deserves to earn from it, so hopefully it won't be around as a freebie for much longer - a double-edged sword that one!

This morning that my Amazon Reviewer status has improved a few points to 14,172 (making big gains is getting harder the further up the rankings I go).  As always thank you to anyone that has taken the time to leave positive feedback over there for me, it is very much appreciated..
