#430 ~ Married by Midnight

Married By Midnight (Pembroke Palace, #4)Married By Midnight by Julianne MacLean

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Book #3 in the Pembroke Palace Series

I featured this about a year ago as a DSOA on my blog.

It turned out to be a fairly standard historical romance that was enjoyable. It didn't set my world alight, but then it made a nice change from other genres I've been reading lately.

If you want boy meets girl, with conflict and resolution, then a heavy dose of love and a suggestion of sex added in, then this is for you.

I liked it enough to add the other books in the series to my WTR list.

Product Details

It was featured as a free Kindle Download file in my DSOA around this time last year, but at the moment it is available at £2.49 HERE.  All in all that's not overly expensive.

180 pages
Indie Writer (Self-published)
Fiction, Historical, Romance

Errors/Bug Bears:

None noted - that doesn't necessarily mean there weren't any, but I didn't feel the need to hit my highlight button.

Happy reading.

My Daily Selection for Freebie Kindle Download at Amazon

Kindle Store > Books > Fiction > Historical > Romance

Back to the genre I love for today's choice, a nice historical romance.  This one is Book 4 in a series, but I am think it will be okay as a stand alone.

You can find it quickly over at Amazon by clicking the large title just above the cover photograph, or click HERE,  As always, please bean mind that I have no guarantee how long they will stay available for free download, so if you are reading this post retrospectively, you may well have to pay for it - I will review it as soon as possible and report back on it's merits.

I'm loving my new Fire, but can't seem to find out if there is a way I can mark the books as read ..... pretty crucial when you have 100s' of them.  Somebody suggested that I delete them from my library at Amazon, but then if I do that I will have to pay for them again.  Does anyone out there know how I can mark a book as read on the Fire, but still keep it on the cloud/device?  I would be really grateful for some advice.

Finally, after a run of downward sliding ratings, my Amazon Reviewer status dipped has risen up a bit to 11,775.  I would love to get to the top 1,000 Reviewers' some day .... so if you find the Daily Kindle Download info useful please go over to my Reviews on Amazon and leave me some positive feedback - which helps my rating, and will earn you my grateful thanks.
