Summary:
This is the first time reading a Lucinda Brant novel, and I have to say I was impressed from the very beginning.
She has a very Georgette Heyer'esque style, although lacking any cant humour, which if a similar could have been added would have made this book perfect.
Well developed and written plot, with interesting multi-layered characterisations.
I am definitely going to be reading more by her, and can't wait to get my hands on the next in the Roxton series, Autumn Duchess.
All considered a very worthy 5 stars for this exceptionally well written offering.
Hugs
Kay
