A nice little spend up on Kindle Store

last night I had time to myself to browse the Kindle Store, and came away with quite a few books - including complete works of Jane Austen for 0.23p - amazing!  I still have lots to spend from the vouchers I received for my birthday too, but can;t decide what to buy.

Before 31st December I need to also update this blog with the books on both of the Kindles' in this place that I've read, but forgotten about as it would be nice to have the correct tally.

I admit it .... I have shed loads of titles to add

but have just been too busy to get my head around which ones I have read on the two Kindles knocking around in this house.

I should note them down as I start to read them .... I need to get it done, as my total will be out at 31st December if I'm not careful.

Just finishing up a sequel to something I read a while ago, no point in saying which one, as I don't think I've added it on here yet ... see what I mean!!

Happy reading

Still left to add to this list

I admit it .... I've been pants at updating list .... but it can't be helped as things have been really busy around here!!

I still have 4 books by Madeline Hunter to add ......... The Rothwell Brothers series and a re-read of Devil to Pay by Liz Carlyle.  Plus I'm about to start a new book by another unknown (to me) author.  Ohh, and I forgot the 2 Lorraine Heath books and another Loretta Chase that I've just finished.

That's the problem with Kindle I suppose, it's far to easy to read, rate and do a quick tweet and then move on.

Not bad going - REVISED

I've got one more book on my desk that I need to add, plus another from my Kindle that I finished an age ago and not found the time to write it down.

By my reckoning that should be 154 *EDIT THAT TO 155  158* since I started keeping track last September ... not bad going at all.  I might even be able to squeeze in another read, but am running low on suitable material.  I've just started the Wax Fruits trilogy .... but only a few pages in it's very hard going, so it is debatable if I will stay the course of that one.

I'm pretty sure I have a fair few others to read on my Kindle, and I know my mother has some on hers I've haven't read as well - we inter-change them to read what the other has which is most convenient I think you will find.

Not much time to read at the moment

plus the Audrey Howard books that I've just finished take up quite a bit of time .... they are long .... still a Loretta Chase double to look forward to next I believe, and a whole stack of others waiting in the wings .... a nice Winter's day snuggled up to read them all would be good!!

Last Night

Last night I picked up Dark Rose by Cynthia Harrod-Eagles, and then realised almost immediately that I have actually read it HERE.

Which is annoying in a way, as I had been patiently waiting for it to arrive from the library thinking that:

(a) I hadn't read it

and

(b) It was the next one in the Morland Dynasty series I needed to read.....

Actually, the next one is the Princling .... which I don't think is even on order.

Never mind, I have an Audrey Howard next and then a Julia Quinn (actually read this one, but don't care I'm reading it again - although can I count it again? ..... I think I can because I will read the whole thing).

Really behind with updating the recent reads

What with work, the Royal Wedding and Hubby being off on leave, I am soooo very behind with updating my reviews.  There are 5 books I need to put up, so hang on to your hats later on.

So, the next book will make 100 .....

since September last year .... I seem to be well on the way to my goal of 144 by September this year.

I picked up another Audrey Howard last night .... which is proving another thought provoking read.

Not much chance to read today

but I have promised myself that once I've finished 2 projects, and done some paperwork and accounts that I can get on with the Mary Balog (one of the "Slightly" series) that is calling my name from the bedroom.

I haven't got the school run this afternoon, as Mum will do it on her way back from Italian lessons.

Laters.

Delicious smell of soup and an eager anticipation to:

  1. Eat some soup after the long walk with the dog this morning.
  2. Settle down in the warm to read more of What Price Love?
  3. The fact that it's Friday and tomorrow will bring a whole re-run of Pride & Prejudice.
  4. A trip to the shops for choccie and wine (see 3 above).
Happy reading.

Just Finished another Stephanie Laurens

and will write it up later, but I desparately need to have a massive online reserversation session as the book stock is running dangerously low,

I am on my last Stephanie Laurens (What Price Love) this morning, with no Julia Quinn of Liz Carlyle left - the only other books are as yet un-tested authors.

Right, I'm off to get my work done so I can get back to my books.

Happy reading
