Possibly not so good as Autumn's Flame, which was Book 4 in her series) - that having been said it was still a good read. Nice simple plot, gentle pace and sweet characters.
As you can see from the fact that I've read Book 4, and now this one, that it is possible to read the series out of order.
The Author's attention to historical details is first class, and she shows such care in the way she crafts the story.
I wish she also took as much care with ensuring there are no typographical/grammatical errors. Unfortunately, you can find a couple of errors, but taken as a whole they didn't distract from the actual overall feel of the piece. Correct to:

A comma is required, so correct to:
That she judged herself less than the beauty she was, stung Temeric
16%: "Beside her, Temric laugh aloud"
Correct to:
Beside her, Temric laughed aloud
18%: "She needs you to come visit"
The ever missing conjunction with North American writers'. Strictly speaking it should be corrected to:
She needs you to come and visit
23%: "It was a heady feeling, much like the aftereffects of the strong wine she'd consumed yesterday"
Space missing, correct to:
It was a heady feeling, much like the after effects of the strong wine she'd consumed yesterday
31%: Ilsa's dancing around back there because she wishes I'd sit and rest
Just badly expressed, correct to:
Ilsa's dancing around behind us because she wishes I'd sit and rest
32%: "Roger was going to attack sister!"
Correct to:
Roger was going to attack her Sister!
33%: "I ought to go tell him ...."
Another conjunction missing. Correct to:
I ought to go and tell him
43%: "... then Edith appeared its doorway"
Correct to:
... then Edith appeared in its doorway
48%: "Do you truly think he'll complain when the bishop names his widower?"
Within the context of the sentence it's the wrong word. Correct to:
Do you truly think he'll complain when the bishop names him widower?
For the following two I forgot to make a note of the percentage, but they were near the end of the book.
".... of its great pride by leaning into Temric's should as if to say the Master had been truly missed."
Correct to:
shoulder
"Mye, I don't think Lindhurst will do them any harm ...."
Correct to:
Me, I don't think Lindhurst will do them any harm ....
